Hello,
I am Karla.

I am a counsellor and therapist behind Your Storylines Therapy, accredited member of NCPS

​You don't need to have everything figured out to start therapy.​

I offer trauma-informed, holistic support that works with both the mind and the nervous system, helping you feel more regulated, safer in your body, and clearer in your life. This can be especially supportive if you've been living with chronic stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or the after-effects of difficult relationships.

My work draws from counselling, person-centred approaches, Internal Family System(IFS), and embodied practices influenced by yoga therapy and somatic awareness. This means we gently explore what's happening for you- in your thoughts, emotions, and body - always at your pace, with consent and respect. 

I also bring my own life experiences of travel, cultural diversity, and personal growth into my practice. These shape my own open, non judgmental way of being with clients. I believe therapy is not about "fixing" you, it is about walking alongside you, helping you reconnect with your own strength and inner wisdom.

At Your Storylines Therapy, you will find a safe, calm, and supportive space where you can be fully heard. My role is to help you explore your story with compassion and curiosity, so that you can discover new ways forward and create a life that feels more balanced, authentic and fulfilling
